In this article we show you what to do if Certo AntiSpy cannot find backups on your computer.
The Problem
You are trying to scan a backup of an iOS device, but Certo AntiSpy reports ‘No backups found’.
The Cause
There are no complete device backups in the folder where Certo AntiSpy is looking for your backups.
The Solution
If Certo AntiSpy is looking for backups in the Default Location then double check there are backups in that folder. The default backup folders paths are:
Windows
- C:\Users\Apple\MobileSync\Backup OR
- C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Mac
- /Users/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Alternatively, if you have set a Custom Backup Folder, check there are backups stored in the folder you selected and that the location is still accessible.
A backup will typically have a long folder name, such as bc4859af8e737844e9568429416be9c6e676978e, and contain many subfolders and files.
