If you’ve scanned your device and Certo AntiSpy has detected a threat then you’ll probably want to remove it as soon as possible. Certo AntiSpy can automatically remove some threats from your device but others will require manual removal.
Why can't Certo remove all threats automatically?
Restrictions imposed by Apple mean that security software, such as Certo AntiSpy, can only make limited changes to your device. This means that our software cannot always remove a threat automatically for you. If this is the case, we’ll always provide simple and clear instructions on how you can remove the threat yourself manually.
- On the results page, click the arrow next to a threat to expand it.
- Click the ‘Remove’ button and Certo AntiSpy will attempt to remove this threat from your device.
- If Certo AntiSpy is not able to remove the threat automatically, then easy-to-follow removal instructions will be provided.
