You receive the following error when selecting a backup to scan in Certo AntiSpy:
“The iTunes backup you selected is encrypted. Please select a different backup or create a new backup of the device with encryption disabled.”
Certo AntiSpy requires an unencrypted iTunes backup in order to fully scan your device for spyware and other security threats.
Follow the instructions here to turn off backup encryption.
